What is the Hunger Mountain Creative Nonfiction Prize?

What will the winner receive?

One first place winner receives $1000 and publication.  Two honorable mentions receive $100 each.

Who can enter the contest?

Human people who have written something.

Who is this year’s judge?

The 2010 judge is Melissa Febos, author of Whip Smart

    I really have no issue with Brevity charging a small fee.The thing that is interesting to me is that I often mean to donate to a particular publication but less often get around to doing it. A fee would mean that good literary magazines survive and bad ones do not. This whole thing has many facets, all of which deserve to be mulled over. Brevity is excellent.
